:wI have an '82 that keeps loosing brake fluid in the mst.cyl. rear reservoir closet to fire wall. Got under car and can't find a wet spot anywhere. all calipers seem to be dry. On other cars I have had it leak out the back of mst.cyl. itself but usually has a trail of fluid down the booster this does not, i have not pulled mst.cyl away from booster yet because as much fluid as i have lost there should be something wet, No obvious wet spot anywhere. Any Ideas?????

Ah yes, looking for and avoiding the wet spot is a lifelong occupation it seems. On C3 Corvettes, a rear M/C seal leak usually just fills the booster with no external leaks. Start there.

Found leak

I pulled the master cyl forward and bone dry, so I knew it had to be else where. I pulled wheels and found it easily on left rear, when I checked before from under car i could not find but after removing wheel there it is>>>>> pistons leaking on outboard side so only visable once wheel off. Got kit $14 and resealed. Those pistons really get nasty, probably should have got kit with new ones. Read about everyone swithing to O ring kits now instead of lip seal, sounds good and very reasonable on ebay. next time. Kit fairly simple to install however bolts where tough because of rust. thanks
