Has anyone got a pic of their spare tire light assembly, mine is missing and the bulb is just hanging down. The item that all the parts houses carry, say that it is the same as the assembly that is used for the tag light. Looking in the area where I think mine use to be mounted, the two screws have a different spacing and it does not look like the tag light will fit in that area. ;shrug Thanks, Tom

Just like this:

Corvette License Plate/Spare Tire Light Assembly, 1975-1987, 1990-1995 ZR1

Thanks, that is the same unit that I got. My problem is that the original light fixture is missing, so I am trying to determine exactly where it goes. There is a place on the rear cross rail behind the spare tire and just to the right of center that has two screws holding small pieces of what I figure was the original fixture, but the spacing is different. The only way the new fixture would mount there is if there were some sort of bracket for it to attach to and act as a standoff. Thanks, Tom

Here ya go....on my white79.

If you need one, I have an NOS lite holder. $10 shipped.(Actually found it lying atop the fuel tank in my 25 mile Pace Car!)

Thanks, that's what I was looking for and afraid of at the same time. It looks like they must have changed by 82 as my cross rail is different (rolled edge) and the mount is in a different location as is seen below!
