Greetings,
I have a vibration throughout the car when under accelleration particularly up hills. Could this be caused by weak motor mounts? Otherwise the car runs fine and smooth at steady speeds and under deceleration. Any wise help would be much appreciated! Thanks, Wyley

Well Wylie,

It's about time you got here ;) I'll move this into the C3 tech forums. You can go back up to the introduction forums and post again if you like ;)

Quick test for motor mount... car in gear (a forward gear), LEFT foot on brake pedal, RIGHT foot feather the gas pedal.... if it's the motor mount the left side will raise, and probably hit the fan shroud.. ;)

With the hood open you will be able to see the engine lift off the mount. It should struggle but not move all that much ;)
