84 digital dash problems?

All the lights work, but all the lights stay lit all the time. Is this a simple fix, like a component change? If not, does anyone know of someone who works on these things in the Tampa/Lakeland, FL area?

When you say all lights work do you mean it lights up everything (self-test) when you start and then stays that way?

Another question: when it is lited, what happens when youput your finger over the little hole in the upper left corner? (light sensor)

It's the tach and speedo that stay lit - like they're both maxed out.

I will get someone to try the light sensor thing and report back to you!

It's probably a ground problem and very common on our Digital Dashes. If you are comfortable with taking it appart, a good cleaning of the connectors & grounds usually works.
