I replaced the fluid because in the morning after the car is warmed for 10/15 minutes it was taking 3 or 4 seconds to go into drive, reverse is fine. I drive the car like I drive my family car 95 percent of the time, but when I punch it from a dead stop at around 40 mph I would feel a slip and then it would grab and go after 1 or 2 seconds. Under normal driving conditions there is no slip, just when I punch it from a dead stop.
I changed the fluid for these two reasons. I did not drill in a drain plug. I've only owned the car for 6 months and have been working on the car for 6 months. Thats okay because slowly the car is coming along. I will install a drain plug when I change the fluid in tne spring.
Just a quick question, one of the 13 mm pan housing holes is striped, what size would you tap it to?
Thanks for your help, its sure valuable.
