84 w/tuned port injection???????

I got logged out and couldnt get back in. That was scary.

How to build up tranny? Whats the most cost effective and best?

Guy I know recently had his 86 tranny rebuilt to stock specs for $1400 so I'm guessing that would be the absolute minimum for a stronger build to handle the extra power?

Keep in mind that the 84 Vettes 700R4 does not shift from 3rd gear to 4th at wide open throttle. I had to buy the aftermarket 3-4 sleeve to get mine to do it.


Myself and 2 of my friends have 84's with stock CFI and they run great. They aren't the hot ticket to build big power with but when set right they run as good as any TPI I have come across.
