Hi, I am finding that when I turn the key off without starting the engine, The LCD cluster goes blank (off). When the engine has been running and I turn the key off the LCD cluster starts buzzing and the LCD's fainty flicker for about 2 seconds. Any idea what may be causing this issue. Cheers;shrug

Thank's for the big welcome :thumb
I have searched for answers, and my problem appears to have not been asked before.
This will get pepole thinking about an answer to resolve my problem.

I'm reading your question again, and I'm not understanding completely the statement in bold. Have you had the cluster out recently?

Hi, Yes the cluster was removed and cleaned out, The problem occured before and after cluster removal. The problem is when you turn the key to IGN the dash LCD's light up as per normal. Turn the key to off and the dash LCD's turn off (All as per normal).
When you turn the key to IGN and start the engine, the LCD's run and display information as normal. But when you turn the key to off after the engine has been running, there is a buzzing sound and all the LCD's flicker at about 10 pusles per second and slowly fade away (About 2 seconds, the buzzing sound continues during the LCD fade). If you turn the key to AUX after the engine has been running the problem will not stop till you turn the key to the off position. Any idea as i going around in circles looking for an answer.:W (And it's not because the steering wheel is on the wrong side, I hope) Thanks:boogie

I thought about the IGN. Switch, but this issue would occur without starting the engine. The buzzing sound may be related to a relay with a bad coil. Without starting the engine the system is on battery voltage only, with the engine started the alternator is running allowing for a increase of 2volts across the electrical system. Is there a prime relay that kills the power to the system when the IGN. switch is turned off as trying to trace under the dash is not easy with one person. Thanks
