Help! 86 dies with full tank

OK. It lives!!!!!!!! It was the connection between the pulsator and the pump. The pulsator is a pressure fit and not a very good one. It looks like it was having blow by when the pump pressure rose. Now I turn the key on, pump pressure goes to 42 and stays there after the pump shuts off. I replaced the pulsator with the short peice of hose that came with the new pump. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I think I also solved the problem with the full tank issue. When I removed the sending unit I noticed a small black piece of plastic at the bottom of the tank. I managed to pull it out and found that it was a plastic cover that goes over the nipple in the tank that the vapor return line is attached to. I think that when the tank was full it was able to either get up inside the nipple or at least cover it up causing a vapor problem. I will find out as soon as I refinance my house to fill the tank.
