I'm getting ready to replace a noisy water pump. Any hints or tricks I need to know about before I dig in? Thanks!!

Craig

just pay attention to where bolts go it is a strsight forward job have fun:_rock :w steve

You're gonna have to remove some of the bolt ons on the Dr side I believe. Just take a real close look, it's crowded in there if you haven't removed any of the pollution junk. Take your time and be cool :beer

A few things to watch for:
The water pump bolt holes might extend into the cooling water jacket. If so, put thread sealer on the bolt threads when reinstalling.
Pay attention when removing the bolts - if they are of different lengths, make sure you reinstall in same locations.

Its really not that big a deal. Just pay attention to where everything goes and DONT use a CHEAP WATER PUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!! you only want to do this ONCE!!!!! Good Luck.:D
