I was out last night and saw a white 87 w/ Dymags for 21k :eek

It is also set to go through the Spring Carlisle Auction at some point today - if you are in the area w/ your bucket of cash, this may be a great buy! :cool

What condition, miles? Any pictures?

Arnold, I believe it had ~ 40k mi on it, a nice driver :cool

Car had been hit in the back and repaired. That was disclosed right on the ad on the window, very honest seller! :cool

TPI could have stood to be refinished and a few other small details. Again, car is a nice driver though, so all this was to be expected.

Here are some pics:

BTW, I heard from a guy who asked if there were any Aero cars for sale - specifically about a yellow 87 :ugh He could not believe he missed that deal, as it was quite possibly the deal of the decade :upthumbs

That makes that red '90 even more of a deal! It had about 15k fewer miles, Callaway upgrades, no accident history, and went for about the same money. Looks like the prices may be moving up. I'd say that's great except I don't own one yet!

Thanks Chris for the added information. It looks like a nice driver similar to my 87 coupe driver. I agree that the yellow Aerobody convertible was a steal. I am glad I jumped on that one.:D

I hope the new owner takes that spoiler off. It looks atrocious.

I really like that hood though. Does anyone have one of those on an aerobody car?

Funny thing...this car is up for sale on Ebay as a NO ACCIDENTS car

Surf, the owner was given three copies of the paperwork with FULL and COMPLETE disclosure of the repairs to the rear. I never saw the car damaged however, a VERY reputable Corvette shop in New England inspected the car after purchase and said it has clearly had damage. It is fixed though and looks really nice.

That hood looks pretty nice on an aerobody. I'm glad those wheels went bye bye too redb2k! :upthumbs
