Question: 87 Corvette Fuel Pump Replacement

My 87 Corvette won't run unless there is starting fluid sprayed into the intake after the mass air flow sensor. We think it is the fuel pump and wonder if anyone has the procedure for replacing the fuel pump. The engine does not seem to be getting any fuel.

Have you replaced the fuel filter recently?

I'd change the filter before doing anything else. More than likely it needs to be changed, even if it isn't the cause of the problem. It could be a cheap fix.

Thanks Catbert, first tried relay, then fuel pump replacement corrected the problem.
