I was just getting ready to post that....notice the Dymags go with it this time.

Man I wish I didn't allready have payments on my stinking truck!!! I'd be all over that bad boy....... and it's only an hour from my house.

Very interesting Car - was originally red/red/black and a 4+3

I have a lot of faith in Carl Rosslers transmissions but wonder how long the 700r4 will withstand the tremendous torque level that car puts out :eek (compared to the turbo 400 w/ GV ext. od unit)

"Auto transmission replaced in 2002 by Rossler transmission(he provided all auto trans upgrades for Lingenfelter performance engineering). Upgraded the transmission with a 9 disc clutch pak which increased the H.P./torque by 15% and gives the transmission added durability"

My 88 35th also has the 9 clutch pack in the 700r4, and makes just over 580 ft. tq and the tranny tolerates it to some extent 1st thru 3rd. The problem is going into 4th gear overdrive with that much power. The band is usually the 1st thing to go, since it must hold the drum in order for the tranny to shift into 4th. And it usually does.

I too run a 700r4 behind a "torquey" small block (383) and I have been impressed by Rosslers work (who did mine).

Rosslers Trans also stood up behind a friends 406 on the *juice* all the way to a 10.2 @ the upper 120's for years...

Sam - bet that would be a FUN driver :)

I was surprised to see that $21k reserve too!! :eek Look at the bid history.. looks like there may be two guys (or girls) that may duke it out for that car. Both people were testing the waters with multiple bids. Let's see where it goes.... any guesses on the "sell" price?

Euuhh sorry but is that the normal place to put the radiator pressure cap? Or is that differend on a b2k..

Greets Peter.

Anyone send "Netcen" an email asking him/her to join the CAC? What a deal on that car! Totally WOW!
