89 Spark Plugs

I went to the local Dealership today and bought new plugs for my 89 vert. The plugs he sold me are AC Delco FR5LS 1" from electrode to base, this is a long plug. The plug that was in the car was AC R45TS approx. 5/8" from electrode to base. The plugs I bought Correct????? or are they going to hit the pistons.

My '87 owner's manual calls for AC Type FR3CLS (.035 gap) (for the aluminum heads). I'm not sure if the iron heads are different but I think so. It is a long, extended-tip plug. ;)

Uhhhh My 89 Vette Manual says on page 6-2 Under Engine specs Spark Plug AC Type FR5LS What Gives???? :confused
