90 Power Seats

Both of my seats will not move forward or backward. If I hold on to the cable under the seat it will move them. My sears have all of the functions available. All of the other functions work. Is there a gear that I can replace? thanks Joe

I have a 1996 with 6 way sports seats and have same problem confirmed electrical power @ seat motor .Seats do not move forward or backwards without holding cable underneath. Lumbar works. Please help
