I didn't write down you email addy. Looks very good though. The seats are in very good shape No signs of wear. Yours has everything I wanted in mine. 6speed and the second choice of colors. I wanted the Quazar blue with Grey interior. But my second choice was Polo Green / Tan. I didnt notice if the seats were Sport seats or standard. But from what I've seen it is perfect.

The only reason I settled for the one I've got is I couldn't pass on the price. I got it for a little over 7K. Now I know why. Needs new interior. Hacked up exhaust (but it doesnt leak). Missing Bose stereo. Missing second top (acrylic blue). A couple of dings in the rims. Two cracks in the drivers door skin fiberglass. Not to mention Im like the 7th owner. Im looking at around 4K to get her fixed up. Thats without doing any mods to the engine.

I don't know when I can get to Jacksonville. I don't think it will be before I head out. When I return I plan on taking some time and visiting with the family in Charleston and I normally go via I 10 to I95. Hopefully you will still have it, because Im very interested.

Cars like this are not predictable on sales...ie, it could be snapped up in a heartbeat, or it may very well be here waiting for you to take it for a spin when you get back.

Have you tried Corvette and Chevy trader yet?

Unfortunately, people don't have the money for something as radical as that even though it's a steal. Damn, I wish I had the money!

Maybe you could try eBay. If the buyer balks, you can get your money back and most sellers have the clause which states that the car is locally advertised for sale (like yours) and if the car sells locally, the auction will end.

You could put a somewhat higher reserve on it and even if it doesn't meet that reserve, judging by past eBay experience, you will have a bunch of people still interested in the car. Maybe something could be worked out? There are so many factors preventing people from bidding...
