92 Convert fx3 shocks help needed

I looked on ebay earlier but would rather buy from some one on here if possible for the trust issue. There is a junkyard that has 10 or so Vettes many c4s but they are pretty well stripped out and I wasnt looking for anything at that time. I will check him tomorrow and se if I can at least snag the main bracket for bolting the spring in place. I wouldnt want to burger it up with a home made plate. The ends is no big deal but would like those also just to get the correct length bolts.

Got one located at a corvette junkyard near me but cant pick it up till Monday with all the pieces. He asked for the code on my spring but of course I dont have one. He has a ZR! spring or standard suspension. Because of the FX3 shocks should I go with the ZR1 spring?
It is supposed to be stouter(less give).

Should be fine

Depends what the std spring is out of.Std springs range from 72N/mm ( hard ) in the '84 to 26N/mm in the '94-'96 cars .All the verts have a spring rated at 39.9 N/mm which is also the most common rate for coupes ;'85-'93 .The ZR1 has a softer 33N/mm
FX3 was available with both base and HD suspension ( dependent apon year ) so spring doesn't appear to be relevent to shocks

I picked up the rear spring and every bolt washer and nut from a good guy in Waco, Texas that parts out a few Vettes at a great price to. If anybody needs his number Pm me and I will send it to you. He has plenty of complete rear end and front end assemblys exhaust wiring harnesses just a lot of stuff and he knows his stuff to. I have been working on a friends house in Waco and waiting for a little warmer weather before I tackle this job. Any time estimates or tips on how to install. The book doesnt say much. Thanks for everyones help. Bob

Yesterday I got my rear spring in and my shocks and the car is sitting higher and I can feel a little bounce in the rear end now which I never did before. It ended up to be a pretty simple job once I got the box of parts figured out . He gave me a lot of extra stuff that I didnt need so I had to wed out that stuff.
I now will buy the front spring from him and get that on. He says that will be a tough job so I hope I can be there when he removes it from the car so I can have a sense of what I need to do. Again thanks for all the help and advise you guys have given me.
