Hi! I recently spent my first summer with my 92 vette. I also have in my possession the original window sticker and dealer book/brochure. In the brochure it states that only the roadster came with a white leather interior for that year but my vette is a coupe and the sticker says that the interior is indeed arctic white. Does anyone have any info that they can provide for me? (How rare is this car that I have?....if at all) Thanks in advance for any info.

firelt226,
Congratulations on your first summer with your 92! The Bright Red with the white is a sharp combo.

I looked in Mike Antonicks Corvette Black Book to answer your question.

It states “White interiors were not available with coupes in early production” (So, you must have a coupe that was produced when the white option became available)

The total number of Corvettes produced with the white interior were 1,461.

Code AR9 Base Seats, White Leather...a total of 752 produced. It was a $555.00 option.

Code AQ9 Sport Seats, White Leather...a total of 709 produced. It was a $1,180.00 option.

There were 4,466 Bright Red Corvettes produced in 92. Paint code 81

You can verify your interior by checking your production label that has you RPO codes. I’m not sure where it’s located on 92’s, but, it may be under your left or right storage bin in your cargo bay, if not there, open your center armrest lid and check there.

Over the years I have seen 92 coupes with the white leather interior at various shows and functions. They are out there and they do exist.

yes they are out there

when i bought my 92 it had a black conv top and white seats, thinking nothing of it i bought the car. after doing my homework i found out that i had 1 of 709 triple white with the sports seats.

the info was under the center console door.

I had the same question when I bought my '92 a few years ago. Mine is unusual too, since it is a black coupe with the arctic white sport seats. They didn't offer coupes OR black cars with the white leather until later in the '92 model year. White leather was also an option in '93.

i have a black rose coupe with white sport seats steve:w

Fast Eddie - I bet the black with the white interior really looks sharp - the red with white caught my eye very quickly causing me to stop my search for a vette and buy that one.

Thanks again everyone for the info.
