92 LT1 For Sale-38K miles-Pics Added-SOLD!

I have posted this previously but am now getting serious about selling and think that I have figured out how to post pics.

This is an immaculately maintained car that has always been garaged. It runs and drives extremely well and has never been abused. I am the second owner (still stay in touch with the original owner) and I am only selling because I have been offered a great deal on an '02 Coupe from a friend, and my wife and garage space says that I can't kep two.

As you can see from the pics it has sport seats and they are in excellent condition. It also has the Bose Gold Stereo, Power Drive and Passenger seats (both work), Two Glass Tops (new Blue and original Bronze. The original owner had Keyless entry installed by his Cheverolet dealer shortly after initial delivery. The only other changes from original is a K&N Filter, and Chrome exhaust tips.

There are very few still in this strong condition. Let me know if you have any interest.

I can't beleive that there has been no interest here for this at this price. Unless I am missing something this is on the very low side for an LT1 in average condition-and this is pristine with 38K miles.

I was hoping someone here on the CAC would appreciate a good deal and the condition. Looks like I should go the retail market and list in the Trader etc but at a much higher price if I am going to have to put in the extra time and effort.

Let me know if you think I am way off the value.

I must admit that I’m not up to speed on what a low mile ’92 LT1 should go for. With 38K on the clock, I would expect that your car is in very good condition. I think that your asking price is appropriate. Since you also have documentation, my thoughts are your car would be worth what you are asking.

If I was in the market for a ’92 such as yours, I would pay more to purchase a car that has “pedigree” papers rather than a undocumented car.

As a barometer, I would check local listings to compare what other like condition LT1s in your area are going for.

Just my humble opinion.

Thanks for the input. The active listings in the area and nationally are all at or considerably more than this. You never know what they ultimately sell for but it can't be for too much less.

I think that it is more than fairly priced and was just hoping that someone connected to the CAC would be interested in an extremely well maintained and unabused 92 Corvette at what I beleive is a bargain price.

Hang in there... a portion of the country is still experiencing the winter blahs, that may be factor in responses.

Thanks. Not upset or in any rush to sell-just thought it was odd that I had no feedback.

Are you sure you dont want a c3?;)

Positve:)

I had a 78 SA for several years and sold it last year. Great car a beuatiful lines, but nothing like the drive of an LT1 C4!

Good luck with your search.

New Price

Close to deal on an '02. Don't have to sell right away but the wife says I can't have two.

$14,500 including 2nd new Glass Top, (blue). You will not find a nicer C4 w/LT1 for this price.

Let me know if you have anybody is interested. I will probably begin listing it for sale in earnest if not sold through the Forum or friends by the end of March.

Thanks,

Deal done on 02-pick up Friday. Just put this in the Trader this week. Let me know if any ineterest here. It would be nice having two vettes for a while...if only my wife will move her car out of the garage so I can put them both inside.lol.

SOLD!

Sold it today to the second person to look at it. Got my asking price and picked up my "NEW" 02 Torch Red Coupe today so not a bad day at all. The buyer is picking up in the morning so for another 12 hours I am a TWO Corvette owner. Here are some pics of them together-if only for a day!

Congrats. It looks like a win-win deal to me. That was a sweet looking LT1, and that new C5 is beautiful too! -John

Thanks! It is amazing to me how much different the driving experience in a C5 versus a C4. Not necessarily better-just a different feel. It is a bit easier to get in and out though!
