92 lt1 starter replacement

May I ask if someone has a place to order a new starter for a great price? Also, what tools do you need specifically to remove and replace the starter?

Any picture instructions would be great...I have my vette up on blocks now, just don't want to start the removal without some input. Thanks again for any and all help.

No special tools required for removing and replacing the starter. There are two bolts holding it to the block from below, and the wiring is all there is to the rest of it.

As for recommendations, I'd recommend you just shop around, and buy from a reputable dealer.
