My 92 was barely running and blowing black smoke if it would even start. I unplugged what we thought was a MAF but turned out to be the TPS. It started running immediately. It idles a little high though.. MY Question is Should I just replace the TPS or could it be something else and if I replace it , is it just a simple in out or does it require adjustments..
I haven't had this car long at all and no prior experience with Vettes.
Thanks in advance

There are a lot of video's on U-Tube on how to test the TPS on GM vehicles. Basically, it receives a reference voltage from the computer and returns a variable voltage back to the computer depending on the position of the throttle. Get yourself a meter and play around with it before replacing it.
