hey list need some help.... I have a 93 C4 that only one cooling fan kicks on at about 230 degrees any one have some troubling shooting tips.....Thanks!

On my 90 Vert., the ECU (computer) turns on the primary cooling fan at approx. 226 degrees. The sending unit in the passenger side head will turn on the secondary fan at approx. 240 degrees. Maybe you are lucky that you have not reached that high of temperature to turn the second one on!

One quick check, turn on the A/C, both fans should run no matter what the engine temperature is.

Good luck!

Try what OLDCHEV suggests and if it still doesn't come on, start simple. Check your fuse first then if that's good swap your relays and see if it changes. Fuses and relays are cheap and easy to replace.
I had a problem with mine too and found that my fusebox had the fuse mislabelled somehow. You may have to check ALL fuses to find the culprit.

thanks guys I will try this weekend.... and I have tried turning on the A/C to max and still only one fan kicks on...
