Is there a "main" amplifier that controls the front and rear separate spkr/amps in the '94 Delco/Bose Cassette/Radio? If so, where is it located? Thankyou.

The Bose system in order to minimize distortion between head unit and speaker, sends a weak signal to each individual speaker amp which is located close to the speaker its self. These amps are noted for their almost certain rather rapid failure. Not to worry, replacements are widely available from Mid America Motors and others for about $150 a copy! Quite a few members have replaced the Bose system with aftermarket ones.
I have long wondered why any one would pay huge amounts of cash for a sound system to be used within an area is already at over 80 Dbls. in background noise
