This is a re-post of a 2009 thread. I still have this issue.
Would anyone of you have pics of the alignment bolts that
adjust the spacing between the hood & the part of the facia
in question? See urls/pics below. Thanks

Did you get the bumper corner / hood corner to align? If so how? I have the same problem on my 94

I have yet to do anything about it so far -- haven't had the time.
Still not sure which bolts make the adjustment.:confused

This is tricky and a job for a pro body guy, methinks. I worked with Jerri for many hours to get it right and HE is the pro. This AFTER another professional almost got it right. Get it wrong and you have ugly spaces and/or paint chips.

The bolts use spacers, but the sides involve some professional techniques that I cannot recall, outside of loosening and moving the inner wheel wells.

Yep...if you notice, everything is slotted, so it can be adjusted. No single panel has an exact fit, you get it close then adjust everything around it to match..
I took my front bumper off once. Not a bad job for one man, but, getting it aligned again was impossible with just my 2 hands.

When I got my car back from the paint shop a few years ago, I had the same problem... the hood and front bumper were not aligned correctly.

It took me most of the day to get it right, but everything finally lined up to my satisfaction. Most of the alignment came from adjusting the hood, not the front "bumper" assembly.

Small incremental changes it what it takes. I also had to re-align the latches where the hood closes. There are three points to consider when aligning the hood - the continuous gap across the front of the hood / bumper and the gap between the hood and drivers door / passenger door.

Then, there's the arcs of the wheel openings and the curve of the hood matching that of the doors..........:w

mu solution was to remove the headlights so you can close and adjust the hood with it aligned. its a pain , must use rachet wreches but it finallyo worked for me
