94 Vette/Ferrari lab experiment on ebay

Whenever I see a re-body on Ebay, I always wonder why anyone would ruin a perfectly good car. Why put a Ferrari badge on it, everyone knows it isn't a Ferrari.

A few years ago, I saw this beautiful yellow Lambo in the Home Depot parking lot. I couldn't help but get up closer to have a look at the beauty.

It had a "For Sale" sign on it for $16,000 and reading more of the details, it was a Fiero (I think...) with a cosmetic make over. The cosmetics were done very well though.

Miami Vice Car.

HI
l was looking for a corvette with a Ferrari body over it for years.
But the one l wanted was the Daytona Convert.

Yes, it had the best of both worlds, but only 12 were ever made right before Ferrari stopped it.

Years ago I thought about doing this (Fiero thing).
You can buy kits that use the Fiero as the chassis and the kit gives you the parts to make it into just about anything you want. Not sure what the car of choice is now but I'm willing to bet it aint a Vette.

I think it was Ken that put a V8 in a Fiero before. I'm sure that a Fiero with a V8 had the bite along with the bark on a Lambo kit.

there was a company here in maryland that did the fiero conversions and they put the corvette motors in them trans mounted.

btw that was chris aka 69myway that did the fiero v8

Mad-Mic, was that Turbo Performance Center that did the conversions? I saw a V8 Fiero there once - had ram air intakes mounted ON THE ROOF to feed the engine!

I'll tell ya what though...

Once I got my Corvette, I forgot ALL about Fiero's. :nono
