Once I gain access to the "driver side" window switch (operates both windows), how do I test & clean this switch to see if it is OK? The switch is presently disconnected from its wiring. Is it necessary take the switch apart? I see that it has at least two parts or pieces. Electrical issues are all new to me. Thanks

Don't have the circuit diagram on this computer but from memory you have power in on one wire ( switch terminal ) and a ground
The switch changes the polarity on the output terminals to the motor so one way drives the window motor down and the other way up.

You should be able to use a DVM ( on the Ohm scale ) to test if the power is passing through the switch when the button operated
and if the polarity on the output reverses without dismantling the switch itself
