96 Muffler Paint

I need to touch up the black finish on my 96. Outside of what I think is the obvious (heat resistant black paint), is there a product that I should use?

A heat resistant flat or satin black is what you should use.

Also, rather than "touch up", I'd pull the exhaust, clean the mufflers with soap and water and a Scotchbrite pad, then I'd paint all of both mufflers. With the right prep, your refinishing will last a long time.

Appreciate the info, Hib. I guess "touch-up" was a poor selection. I have the mufflers off and will do it up right.:thumb
