Hi....I have an automatic transmission in my -97. The option code is M30. Is that a A4 ? What is a A4 ??

The automatic which was an option on most cars up until lately. The standard transmission installed in cars was the manual transmission, thereby people still refer to the manual transmission as a standard transmission. The C5 vette now offers the manual/standard transmission as an option that the purchaser pays for.
