Just replaced the weather stripping on the A & B pillars, About as hard as I figured it would be! I like to never got the dang roof back on...Is this normal? I used after market w/s, Now the driver window seams to not go up high enough....ANY advice welcome.

I haven't replaced my weatherstripping, but it seems like I have seen some threads on here that said it wasn't unusual to have that, especially with aftermarket stuff. I believe they also said that it usually gets better after the new weatherstipping "seats" and conforms to the top, etc. I may be wrong, but I would think that you just need to give it some time. I am sure others will chime in later with some info. :w

Yea, Probably after some time it would pull down. Thanks...

That's the way it was with mine. The first time putting the top on was kind of a bear. But it has now seated in pretty well. I used LoneStarMusclecar as my source of weatherstrip.

Time will let the weatherstrip conform to where your window is.

The ONLY weatherstrip which will install with absolutely NO problems or issues is GM. Costs more money but sometimes the better way to go.

Let us know what happens! Congratulations on doing a very time consuming and messy replacement. I mean the "job" not the result! :upthumbs
