I've got some new a\c vents for the center of the dash to install. Is there anything I should know other than the obvious screws that come out as far as installation? Any unseen clips or fasteners to deal with?

Whenever I've taken apart interiors I've always taped any clip in place with masking tape as I remove the parts. That way the clips can't shift around while scattered in your garage, and better yet none will fall off of the trim pieces to be lost. You will thank yourself when all of your screws go into the clip on the first try during reassembly.

Good luck!

good tip....

There is also some small foam strips that go on top and the bottom of the vents ...it helps insulate and control the vent from flopping around...where ever you got the vents should have this stuff or when you pull it out you can probably pick some up at a hardware store....I'm betting the foam strip in your car is like 99% of others I've seen ...its rotten.
