My C3 faired nicely this Christmas. At the insistance of my wife to get the crack in the windshield fixed before Christmas, we put it in the shop. Turns out she and the Corvette shop owner were in on a little scheme. When I got it back, not only was the windshiled replaced, my lovely wife had the leather seats completely redone, and new carpet put in! What fantastic suprise! This almost completes the interior redo. All that's left are a new center console, gauge bezel and parking brake housing (all not in bad shape now).

Under the tree was a new car cover w/lock, new floor mats, a great looking nylon Stingray jacket (with correct for my '75 logo) and a 1953-2003 Technical poster (to replace my old one that stopped in 1988). Wow!:_rock

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and thank you for all of your input...it has saved me some grief a time or two!:beer

Great, bet you was suprised, santa been good to you .

What a wonderful wife! You're a lucky guy. :cool

Merry Christmas! :w

:D Now you just have to believe in Santa now......wow......some nice toys.....enjoy !!

I asked her if she may be related to Santa...she just smiled and said, "Wait until next year little boy". If she insists at any time to put the car into the shop, you better believe I won't argue with her about it! She's definitely a keeper. I'm just glad I did the bling-bling thing for her this year, she so deserves it.

It sounds like you had a great Christmas!

Lots of us here at CAC have great mates. My office is wallpapered with Corvette posters that my wife surprises me with from time to time and she supports my bike habit as well. Instead of complaining about me putting on a few pounds she gave me a new (slightly larger) kidney belt.;LOL

This reminds me that we haven’t heard from 69MyWay in a while, does anybody know how Chris, wife and child are doing?:grouphug::Steer

Congrats Dave! You'll have to bring her to the Cruise-In next year so she can meet my wife:D. -Eric:w
