A Couple of Body Mount Questions???

Hey Guys and Gals, I have a few questions now that my new body mounts are in place. The Car, 1975 coupe.

1. To shift the body to the right 1/2 inch, Is it a brute force thing?

2. Do only the body mounts need to be loose or are there other things I may need to loosen to accomplish #1?
