That makes a great story and I'm sure the sales folks and dealers in attendance were impressed, but the Kerbeck car isn't the original Motorama Corvette - it's a replica.

Thought the Kerbeck "replica" had been well-documented as just that! So, how can Mr. Kerbeck keep circulating/representing the car as the REAL DEAL!? Would think someone would be crying foul! Dare I say, FRAUD!

Because organizations like Boomington Gold name it as one of the First Ten Important cars and NCRS keeps paying tribute in exchange for Kerbeck's "sponsorship".
And now, thanks to the NY Times, we can spend the NEXT TEN YEARS explaining how "EX-122" and "XP-122" are the same car and STILL NOT what it purports to be.
I wonder how much they'd take for the V8 motor in the car.

I am glad to see that other people know that it is a replica and not the real deal.
