Nice ride! Sounds like you might have poly A-arm bushings?

Right, that's not the camera making that noise. It must be those loud bushings. ;LOL

Nice vid Eddie. :thumb

thanx for the ride, it reminds me of home, in arkansas..your a little more populated but the roads and lay out are really similar...

Very nice!

That sounds like my Cadillac, creaks and all!

Its funny, I hear the creaks sometimes. I do have poly bushings but it is not them that sqeak. I think it is the dash pads and crap that make the squeaks.

Good to see you on here bro!! Did you get that Sonic Boom yet? I preordered but mine has not came in.

Eddie, YouTube is blocked here at work, but VetteTube isn't. *hint hint* :D

Eddie, YOU and AGVI have gorgeous C3's! I love your convertible!

I will see what I can do. I will try to upload them this evening. Then I will try to relink them to this thread. For some reason, I could not get the first post to come up like I wanted it to and the whole post is a link. I tried twice to get it right.

Any, Vette Tube should have a couple of new videos in a while. :thumb

Eddie, now you just need to get some real tires on there and you'll be all set! The only things those BFG's are good for is slow speeds and smoke shows! :D

Even if you have good rubber on an early C3, it's just not a good idea to be going fast in the corners! :ohnoes

LOL

As long as I'm judicious with the "GO" pedal, I'm almost thinking that my vette with the new performance tires might be able to keep up with my daily driver through a corner. I don't know about a bunch of twisties, but a single corner I think I'm pretty good. Just like any year vette, you need to use the throttle to really work through a tough corner. :cool

You don't have an early C3, I seem to recall the later cars handling much better than my pig.

True, mine is a later C3, but all things considered, short of weight savings, there's not really that much difference in the suspension throughout the life of the C3, no? (Eddie, sorry for the potential hijack. At least your thread stays at the top of the forum listing, :chuckle)

This is a total hijack! Someone here should be banned for this!

I thought weight was redistributed (motor moved back) etc... I don't recall the "swinging dumbell" effect in the newer cars.

Eitherway, the OP's car looks and sounds great.

Might be the added weight over the years along w/ the wider, lower profile radial tires.
