I bought them last year and had them installed. One of the valve stems is having a slow leak so I'm going to bring it into the dealership tomorrow morning. It's nothing scary, but I do have to check the pressure once every week or so.

Is this covered under the warranty?

Are rotations covered under the warranty? I lost the little packet that was included and figured that I would get an answer quicker on the CAC than e-mailing Tirerack.

Thanks,

The valve stem goes into the rim, not the tire. So the tire warranty wouldn't cover that. But a good tire shop can replace the valve stem so that you have no leak.

Rotations are not covered as far as I am aware.

They warranty the tire...nothing else. I just bought my second set from them. Went with the polished 5 spoke and up to 275/40/17's instead of the 255/50/16's. I have a set of tires to sell now....only 2500 miles on them.....

You CAN tighten the valve, inside the stem and perhaps stop the leak. The tool works on bicycles, too. The leak can be shown with a soapy solution in most cases.

Most tire shops routinely change stems when changing tires, unless specifically asked not to. They also routinely swipe (or lose) and special caps.
