ac blows thru floor/defrost only

Im working on a 1994 vette with automatic climate control. On startup the dash controls for ac heat work fine and blow thru the correct areas for about 15 seconds. After that it reverts to floor and defrost and the controls will lock up on dash.
I have checked the t on passenger side of intake, cleaned the contacts on ac control*module, checked the connections for the vacuum control by gas pedal. The next thing I guess I need to do is trace thehard plastic line from intake to inside of car. Any other suggestions or ideas would be aappreciated.

AC Delco 15-73506 GM Original Equipment Air Conditioning Control Module

I had the same issue on a '96 LT4 I owned several years back, tried to locate the thread, but no luck.

The control module was/is located under the drivers dash above the accelerator pedal, tuff to get at/work on.
