Help! AC Climate Control light bulb:

Does anyone know exactly where this light bulb should be? So for, I have not found it nor the socket? 1980 Corvette:

the bulb for the hvac controls is under the overhang on the console..
it shines down onto the controls
It does lite BUT it MUST dark for it to illuminate the controls..

Under the overhang ON the console. Sorry, I'm not quite clear. Is the bulb under the console/under the AC/Heather controls? Or is it topside somewhere.
I purchased my 1980 3 years ago and the ac controls have always been dark in the dark. I finally decided to look into it. I would think they should be illuminated some.

Wow, I never noticed that the light may be from there. The lights shines down thru that hold? I will check it out tomorrow.
