AC drain

I am a new member, this is a great corvette site. I was recently on a trip and when I got home noticed the carpet on the passenger side was alittle wet and it was water. I ran the ac at 60 degrees and the condensation is coming out of the evaporator drain. I did not see any more wet spots on the carpet.The ac seems to work good. Has anyone had this problem before? What could be the cause? Thanks Steve Barker

We just got back from a weekend trip to Estes Park, CO with the inside temp set anywhere between 70 and 75. We noticed a little water on the passenger floor mat also, but then it dried out and never bothered again. I assumed water was condensing somewhere, but there should be a drain. I've only had the car 6 months, and with time out for winter, been driving it only 15 to 20 times. Only bothered this once.

I haven't had any problem with condensation from my system, but I had to post to this thread!

You have a drain line that is clogged. I had the exact same thing about a month ago. Water spilled all into the passenger side floorboard. I took mine to a good shop that has done work for me on a previous corvette. All they have to do is run a wire brush up that tube and clear it out. If you have the time, you could probably do it yourself.
