AC Oil Filters Re-Released

Not sure if many of you have heard, but the original black AC oil filters for the LT5 engine are back in production. Visibly, they are slight different.

The following information and pictures were submitted to us by forum member Al Whittier:

Replacement has Bar Code on Label Original has old style box, no bar code.

They look identical on the outside and carry the same main housing numbers on the inside. The rusty one is old stock like most old stock look by now.The other I purchased this week a Dobles. New shipment and box. Just the label APPEARS different. Can't really see the check valve, but willing to guess no change.

Thanks for the info. I was down to 3 one has the label on upside down and I want to keep it just for grins...

LOL....I stopped using the AC filtes and started using either Mobil 1 or Fram Filters. All the original AC filters I saw at the autoparts store had rust in them.
