AC piping in Eng compartment

Well NJ's hot & humid summer weather has returned, and I notice a considerable amount of condensation on the exposed metal A/C piping in the '96 engine compartment. Would the blown air in the interior be any colder if I were to put some pipe insulation on the piping to slow down thermal energy absorption??

The air inside does blow cold enough to keep things reasonably comfortable when the outside is in the 90's and humid, just wondering If it could be improved abit by minimizing warming up of those pipes...

The condensation is because the low side pressure on the low side of the A/C system gets cold. Warm humid air condenses on a cool/cold surface. Its completely normal. I would just leave a working A/C system alone it is working just fine.
