I bought a pair of AutoMeter Cobalt-series gauges for my Corvette dash. I found a bit too much variation in the brightness of the side-by-sides, so i called, then sent them to their IL factory. Incidentally, they still make things in the US!
The technician was unusual, in his support and his effort to ensure sameness in illumination, despite differences face design and LED color and brightness variations. He installed a small variable resistor on the brighter gauge and sent them back. It works perfectly.
I would encourage any of you who are shopping for gauges to buy American, from a company that still cares about customers.
As the fuel computations no longer work, I removed the switches, replaced with these gauges.
