Other than the obvious can anybody tell me why out of the blue I would get an "Active Handling System Warming Up" message? I have 15,500 on an '04 and the temps around here have been in the 40-50 degrees range except at night 20s -30s. Car is kept inside. Drove it yesterday then went to 4 pm movie. When we got ready to leave the message came on then gradually went away. I guess as long as it is 'WARMED"I'M oK.
Any help out there. Please.

Thanks,

wwr

my 02 did that once in a while but i never did anything about it and it never cause a service problem.

I've seen mine appear numerous times when I've driven the car for a while, shut it off then restarted when the engine was still warm. Other than that scenario I do not get the message.

I've only had that message come up when I drive under 10 mph after start up(down a sand road). Never under any circumstances. Since that's the only time it does it, I don't fret about it...
