I have added rear speakers in boxes to my 77. This prevents me from placing my T Tops in the rear of the car.

I have been at Ecklers and they had two products that looked like they would work:

Part# 27613, Custom Boom Box W/O Speaker Sad, 68-77
Part# A9961, 1968-77 Challenger Speakers

Ecklers tells me that the first choice won't work and recommended the second. Anyone have any experience with either of these products or have another solution for placing speakers in the rear of the car that will allow the stowage of the T-Tops?

I have the custom boom box in the back of my '75 convertible, and it doesn't interfere with storage of the soft top at all. Don't know how much room you need for the t-tops in your coupe, but I'd suggest calling someplace like Custom Autosound (phone # in eckler's catalog) that specializes in Corvette sound systems for advice/ recommendations.
