My previous owners wife must have wanted those cheap mirrors on the back of the sun visors (big ones too) and I'm going to have to break them to remove, any ideas on what would dissolve the adhesive behind the remaining pieces??

may help

Hello Jim i would first try, i actually dont no what it is called, but its a preparation cleaner you go over all vinyl before you paint it, like if you where to paint the vinyl upholstery in a car, and thats used for vinyl and leather. the last time i purchased some was at a boot or shoe repairer shop, of coarse thats if your visours are vinyl, regards wayne.

I've used 3M General Adhesive Remover on all types of adhesives, road tar, etc. Always comes through for me. I bought it at CARQUEST.

Good luck :w

Believe it or not....GooGone......it won't hurt any surface, and the stuff really works.

I use GooGone for most every sticky problem, even dealership logos and decals.
