Added the Mid America adjustable fuel pressure regulator today. Have a question about how to set the pressure - the directions said to initially set it with the vacuum line to the regulator disconnected; however, it also said to tighten it finger tight and if you did that then it'd prohibit the intake plenum from dropping into place. With the vacuum line on, my pressure is currently at 43. With the line OFF, it jumps to 55. If I drop it down to 43 with the vacuum off, putting the line on give me a reading of about 35, less that the stock one.
What's the generally accepted correct procedure for how to adjust the fuel pressure?
