Advice for visit to Bowling Green Plant Tour

My wife and I will be in Elizabethtown, KY for a job interview on August 29th-Sept 1st. I would like to find time to visit the NCM and do a factory tour. Any suggestions and hints for the visits would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ron,

The plant tours are 9a, 11a, and 1:15p Monday through Friday. No sandles or flip flops. Don't be late or you will miss the tour. The museum is open 8-5 daily, give yourself plenty of time so ya don't have to hurry. Lots of other things to see in the area too. Mammoth Cave, the distillery tours around Bardstown, Bell's Tavern in Park City, and the Kentucky Museum on the campus of WKU just to name a few.

Dale, Thank you for the timely information regarding the Bowling Green plant tours and the suggestions for visiting the NCM. Hopefully we will be moving to the Elizabethtown area in the near future, so we also need to devote some time to "scoping" out the area for housing, towns and all the other activities related to moving to a new area. I recall seeing a few Vette clubs in the area, so if anyone from the Elizabethtown are is reading this post, I would appreciate any feedback about the area, positive or negative.
