Well, with any luck, any 'projects' I decide to take on in the future, this site will be as big a help... Now if someone could only help me with my Flowmaster sizes :)

Actually, I'm all set with it, just ordered two 40 series (originals) 2.5" , offset in/center out, and I'll have my stock LT1 tips welded on, until I can find some tips I REALLY like...... In the meantime, I LIKE my stock tips......

I tell ya....I went with the Borla 2 1/2 stainless cat back with the 3"dual outlets that are intercooled...love the sound and really like the million mile warranty...now the complete exhaust is stainless and i will never have to worry about it again...

I'm going to post a topic, so this one can stay on track, but you have me curious of a couple things.....

AAA rims

Anyone thinking of dealing with AAA please note ....

These guys are quite shakey in their business. Like Eagle85 I have run Firestone SZ-50's before and didn't find them as a package deal .... so I called and got the machine ... I left a description of what I would like ... the ZR-1 Polished rims with 275/40 ZR 17 Firestones. Two days later I got a message from them, when I called back I got the machine again, I left a message for them to call me back. I finally got a call from Dave, who said he had the wheels "in stock" and it would be a day for the tires, plus a day for mounting ect. With standard UPS ground shipping ($140) to south Mississippi I should get the package in about a week. I thought this was really good, but after a week and a half I got a message saying the shipment of wheels came in and the offset I needed wasn't in, it would be another two weeks till the proper offset came in.

I called and got the machine again, inquiring about my order, which had been paid in full, but never got a call back. Two days of this I finally got a real person and cancelled the order and was told that I would be charged 15% a restocking fee. WTF?!?! Restocking fee for what ... something they didn't have in stock? After a call to my lawyer, and a call by him, three days later I was credited with the full purchase price.

This may not be the experience that other customers have had but needless to say I was ticked.

Just a little thing to think about before doing business with these guys.

Funny how the mention of a name brings back memories....Dave.... Michigancustomauto....or AAA

had the same thing happen to me...ordered the ZR-1 chrome , had them in stock...was working out of garage with another guy. Promised would be a few days to ship....called back...sorry only had three in stock waiting for the other...took a month and I said forget it. Also would not let me drive up there to save shipping....said if I came to house I would have to pay tax and something else ...that it would be cheaper to ship the 50 miles.
All on all it was too shady and I said forget it. last I heard was he would call when it came in and he was going to ship. I said no but he said I had placed the order....never heard back or gave it a thought till you mentioned the name and what you went through...
