After collision, Corvette owner gets his dream car back on road

ENID, Okla. — When a large diesel Ford pickup backed into Kevin Lowe’s 2006 Corvette while on a cruise in March 2011, he saw an opportunity, not a disaster.
The friendly Newcastle Corvette owner had his fully customized yellow-and-black vette on display at this year’s Corvette Expo XXI Saturday at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center.
Like others at the show, Lowe has a photo album detailing the 13-month journey he undertook, with help from his son-in-law, to get his dream car onto the road.
