Is there anyone who has aftermarket seats in their C4 and can recommend them? I know Corbeau has the brackets for C4 application and really want direct bolt on, no modifications, drilling, etc. Recaro contacted be me back and said their seats are too wide for proper application in C4s and do not recommend.

If someone does have Corbeau in leather, how is the quality for the $ asked?

After considering to spend the money to recover my leather sport seat and repair all the non functioning lumbar support, etc. I decided to just spend the money to replace them entirely. I wanted to keep it original, but I think the 90 sport seats are ugly and cost too much to rebuild with new covers in leather, etc.

I am looking for comfortable seats that will be used only for drag racing once in awhile and possible autocross. Since only on a island, it does not have to be too comfortable for long distance, but at least for driving hour at a time.

Thanks in advance.

How about a stool dude? Or take one chair away from your dining set (wife or g/f should be out of the way while doing this) and remove all four legs - use a hacksaw so that the cutting lines are smooth. You may use some sand paper to remove the chips and sharp edges. Then take some good amount of adhesive and glue the stool or the modified seat to the chassis.

I am sure this will solve your problem of driving the car for an hour or so at a time :)
