Hey, question for all of you out there? I have seen pictures of wiper doors for the late 70's vettes... Stupid question but I am going to ask it anyways... Will this lower your interior temperature a little bit? The reason I ask is if there is a cover, then wouldn't that mean that it would force the air off your windshield down into the vents quicker than our current design? I get fumes in my car through the vents, and like a typical stingray, my car gets TONS of hot air in there even with the heatercore bypassed. The air, comes from the vents... It looks like the seal on the hood is sealing, I just can't think of anythign else here....

In theory cool air should sweep across the hood and the negative flow area at the back edge of the hood is supposed to suck that air into the ducts and out the fresh air vents.
I would imagine that the after market cover would only impede on this design feature but I have never seen one on a car.
If there is hot air coming from the vent balls I would double check the hood seal at the rear edge.
