They look pretty (to some people) but in your case it's likely to be 100% cosmetic and offer ZERO difference in anything except how much money you had in your bank.

I guess there really is no good shortcuts to more power eh? Thanks for helping me save $80! Unfortunately the real needs for my 81 are much more "involved"...

I put one on my L82. It was a K&N. I went with the black lid instead of the chrome to match with the filter housing. Any difference in power? I really can't say. It does look good and I can hear the 4 barrell better when I kick it in. I love that sound. Of coarse I kept my original lid. I have it wrapped up and tuck away for now, and yes it was about $80.
